We’re an independent brokerage, which means we don’t work for any one insurance company — we work for you. These are the carriers we most often place Minnesotans with, along with our honest take on each and their customer-service contacts. Because we’re paid the same no matter which one you choose, our only goal is matching you to the plan that actually fits.

What about UCare? UCare exited the individual market and its plans there moved to Medica as of January 1, 2026, while its Medicare Advantage, MSHO, and Medicare Supplement plans ended December 31, 2025. If you were a UCare member, reach out — we’ll help you find the right new coverage.
Buying on the marketplace? MNsure (651-539-2099, mnsure.org) is Minnesota’s health insurance exchange and the only place to use a premium tax credit. See our MNsure enrollment guide or try the subsidy calculator.

Per our standard disclosure, on average we represent six organizations offering roughly fifty products in your area. The carriers above reflect the companies we work with most; availability varies by product and location.

About our carriers

On average we represent about six organizations offering roughly fifty products in a given area, though it varies by location and product line. The companies on this page are the ones we work with most often.
We represent these carriers, so we’re upfront about that. We’ve written each review to be balanced — real strengths and real trade-offs — and because we’re paid the same regardless of which carrier you pick, we have no reason to push one over another.
There’s no single best carrier — it depends on your doctors, prescriptions, budget, and whether you’re shopping health, Medicare, or a marketplace plan. That’s the comparison we do with you, for free.
UCare exited the individual market (those plans moved to Medica for 2026) and ended its Medicare plans on December 31, 2025. If you were affected, we can help you find replacement coverage and review any guaranteed-issue rights.
